Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Contract

Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay: $32.00–$36.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy healthcare team in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a great opportunity for an MA who is confident in both clinical and administrative responsibilities and enjoys providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits

• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information

• Perform blood draws/phlebotomy

• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing

• Document patient information accurately in Epic

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures

• Perform injections and other clinical duties within scope of practice

• Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms

• Assist with patient scheduling and follow-up

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

• Support efficient patient flow throughout the clinic

• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team

What We're Looking For

• Medical Assistant certification/credential

• Previous Medical Assistant experience

• Strong phlebotomy/blood-draw experience required

• Epic experience required

• Comfortable performing hands-on clinical duties independently

• Current BLS certification preferred

• Strong patientcare and communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Compensation

$32.00–$36.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Candidates with strong recent phlebotomy and Epic experience are highly encouraged to apply.
