Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate who thrives in a fast-paced specialty practice and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. Experience in a vascular, vein, surgical, or other specialty practice is preferred; however, candidates with strong outpatient clinical experience are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Greet all patients with a friendly smile, prepare patients for examination including taking vital signs and documenting EMR chart with patient concerns, and symptoms
Assist Providers with patient treatments
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement
Assist with scheduling of requested testing and labs
Ensure safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures
Prepare solutions for injections
Complies with Policies and Procedures, and adheres to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment
Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (required)
BLS Certification (desired)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Polite and professional attitude with patients and co-workers
Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly
Good time management
Must be a team player
Strong attention to detail
