Certified Medication Aide

6a-6p

Bremond Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our care team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to residents, as well as supporting high-quality resident care in alignment with each individual service plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to residents and accurately document services provided.
  • Assist with medication refills and maintain medication records in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Maintain resident and family confidentiality at all times.
  • Serve as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding residents’ medication needs.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care aligned with resident service plans.

Qualifications

  • Active CNA or equivalent certification required.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Completion of state-approved medication aide training/coursework.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
