About the Role:MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Ontario, CA! This is a PER DIEM assignment. Day and Night shifts available. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while growing your healthcare career with a supportive staffing network.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while preserving dignity and respect
- Communicate effectively with RNs, LVNs, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Requirements:
- Active and valid California CNA certification in good standing
- 1 year of expierence
- Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a strong work ethic
