Certified Nurse Midwife

Summary:

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to help us expand access to care at our OB/GYN practice in Hancock, Michigan. You will join a supportive team of physicians and certified nurse midwifes at our well-established practice. Our clinics are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) that qualify for federal loan repayment program. Competitive compensation and benefits with signing bonus and/or relocation potential. Must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Michigan. DEA required.

Practice opportunity details include:

• Candidate Type: CNM
• Rotation of Evening/Weekend Call
• Paid malpractice with 100% tail insurance covered through the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA)
• $2,500 CME annually
• 184 hours of Paid Time Off based on full-time employment status
• Paid Holidays

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of a school of midwifery or completion of a midwifery training program
• State of Michigan unrestricted Registered Nurse and State issued specialty CNW certification
• Registered with current DEA certificate
• One year of practice experience, preferred
• Life support training certification
