What You’ll Do:

• Provide personal care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, skin care, nail care, and grooming.

• Assist with meals, snacks, dining, and hydration.

• Respond promptly to call lights and communicate resident needs to nursing staff.

• Engage residents through activities such as reading, walking, games, and conversation.

• Maintain clean and orderly resident rooms, infirmary areas, dining spaces, and supply rooms.

• Set up and clear dining areas and stock supplies and linens.

• Safely transport, ambulate, and transfer residents using wheelchairs, walkers, Hoyer lifts, and other assistive devices.

• Follow nursing department policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Participate in staff meetings and care conferences as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

• Current CPR certification.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid state driver’s license with no moving violations.

• At least one year of experience working with older adults.

• Flexibility to work afternoon and midnight shifts, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a faith-based or mission-driven environment.

• Willingness to understand and respect the traditions and culture of the Sisters of Mercy and the Catholic Church.
