What You’ll Do:

• Assist with medications and treatments according to prescribed plans and established procedures.

• Document medications administered and report unexpected reactions or changes in condition.

• Maintain medication supplies, audit medication carts, and accurately account for medications.

• Monitor vital signs and observe residents for responses to medications.

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.

• Assist with meals, hydration, mobility, transfers, and daily activities.

• Prepare paperwork for medical appointments and maintain medical records.

• Complete incident reports for changes in condition or unusual occurrences.

• Follow medication safety procedures and maintain required training.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

• Current CPR certification.

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least one year of experience working with older adults.

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work flexible hours.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including assisting residents with mobility and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Medication Technician (Med Tech) experience in an assisted living setting.

• Experience in a faith-based or mission-driven environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to understand and respect the traditions and culture of the Sisters of Mercy and the Catholic Church.
