Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and home healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitor patient conditions, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Measure, record, and report patient vital signs accurately.
Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and proper body positioning.
Notify the supervising nurse of patient pain, changes in condition, or abnormal findings.
Provide oral hygiene, skin care, nail care, and foot care.
Maintain patient safety by following infection control and facility protocols.
Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and report to assigned facilities on time for scheduled shifts.
Follow employer and client policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Wear proper identification and maintain professional conduct.
Perform additional patient care duties as assigned by the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment (where required).
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Basic knowledge of patient care, infection prevention, and safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift up to 80 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (2–5 hours at a time).
Ability to work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and other healthcare-related hazards.
