Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care and support services in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting safety, dignity, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, ambulation, and personal hygiene
- Support nursing staff with basic medical procedures and post-surgical care
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical and mental conditions
- Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collections
- Maintain accurate medical records and worksheets
- Assist residents during meals and support dietary needs
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident care areas
- Assist with transportation, clerical duties, and other support tasks as needed
- Participate in quality improvement and workplace process initiatives
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and patient safety practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
- Ability to establish effective working relationships within a healthcare team
- Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
