Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a healthcare team in Camden, ME. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and supporting nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
Provide basic patient care, including repositioning, toileting, and feeding assistance
Support patient mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights
Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
Assist with procedures and specimen collection as directed
Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient confidentiality
Provide emotional support and basic education to patients and their families
Qualifications
Active, state-approved CNA certification
High school diploma or equivalent required
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
