We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Medical Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant required) to provide clinical and administrative support to an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). This role involves local travel between sites using a company-provided vehicle and requires a strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and reliability. The ideal candidate is located near Lincoln, IL and is willing to commute to Lincoln to start their day.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the APN with clinical duties, including patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
Support care coordination and follow-up with patients and families
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Prepare exam areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies
Assist with basic procedures within scope of training and certification
Provide compassionate, professional patient interactions
Travel locally to support care delivery across assigned locations
Qualifications:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Previous medical assistant, clinic, or long-term care experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile work environment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Ability to meet physical demands of patient care (standing, walking, lifting)
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
