Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel opportunity at a skilled nursing facility in Meeker, Colorado. This is a quick-start opportunity with 36 hours guaranteed per week and potential for permanent placement for candidates interested in staying long term.
Housing: Shared furnished apartments are available within city limits, with Wi-Fi provided. Candidates with their own housing are welcome to inquire.
Job Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a skilled nursing/LTC setting
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Take and document vital signs and other assigned patient information
Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed
Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to the appropriate nursing staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection-control standards
Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and independence
Collaborate effectively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team

Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification required
Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Must be available for 36 guaranteed hours per week
Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility
Local travelers will not be considered
COVID vaccination required in accordance with the applicable state mandate
Must comply with facility housing policies if utilizing provided housing
No pets and no smoking permitted in provided housing
