Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is also willing to work as a Psychiatric Technician (Psych Tech) in a Chemical Dependency Unit. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), support patients experiencing substance use and behavioral health conditions, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, and other patient observations.
• Monitor patients for changes in physical, emotional, and behavioral status and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Provide support and supervision to patients in a Chemical Dependency Unit, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Assist with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention when necessary, following facility protocols.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and provide compassionate care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure patient rooms and treatment areas remain clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, HIPAA, and facility guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
