About the Role: Join Prestige Home Health Care Agency as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Newport News, VA, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our clients. Be part of a dedicated team that strives to enhance the quality of life for individuals in their homes.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Document patient care and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
Must be a certified nursing assistant with a valid certification.
Previous experience in a home health or long-term care setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
