The SICU primarily cares for patients with traumatic injuries, surgical complications, neuro patients including TNK, and open-heart surgery patients. Patient population includes sepsis, trauma, DKA, neuro conditions, CABG, STEMI, post-vascular surgeries, renal failure, and oncology patients.
