About the Role
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at LifeSpan Therapy plays a vital role in supporting occupational therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to residents. This position focuses on assisting patients in regaining and improving their daily living and work skills through therapeutic activities and exercises. The COTA collaborates closely with the occupational therapy team to implement treatment plans tailored to individual resident needs, ensuring progress toward functional independence. Additionally, the role involves monitoring resident responses, documenting treatment outcomes, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment. Ultimately, the COTA contributes significantly to enhancing residents' quality of life by promoting recovery and adaptation in various settings.
