Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with us. This role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.
As a COTA, you will:
Report to the Rehab Director and coordinate weekly schedules with office staff
Provide therapy services in assisted living and home health settings
Support patients in achieving functional goals through individualized care plans
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff
Observe, assess, and document patient progress
Adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize multiple tasks
Interpret technical instructions related to patient care
Qualifications
Valid Indiana COTA license in good standing
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Specialized skills in areas such as:
Hand therapy and ergonomics
Blind/visual rehabilitation and assistive technology
Functional capacity evaluations
Polytrauma, TBI, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health
Driver rehabilitation and home-based primary care
Evidence of annual TB test and other state-required screenings
