Pay: $30.00-$37.00 per hour

LHH is seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist for a construction firm located in Pasadena, CA. This temporary-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with union payroll, certified payroll, or construction payroll experience who is comfortable with detailed reporting, project documentation, and high-volume data entry.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly certified payroll, including uploading and distributing payroll reports

• Process and distribute subcontractor certified payroll documentation

• Maintain organized certified payroll files and records

• Provide support to prime contractors and subcontractors regarding certified payroll matters

• Monitor incoming contract information and maintain accurate project documentation

• Maintain Excel spreadsheets with project and payroll details

• Assist with certified payroll start-up paperwork for new projects

• Assist with union reports and status letters

• Support certified payroll reporting and distribution

• Perform accurate data entry and general administrative duties

• Assist the Certified Payroll Manager with additional payroll-related projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of union payroll experience

• Construction payroll experience preferred

• Certified payroll experience preferred

• 2+ years of data entry experience

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word

• Accurate 10-key/data entry skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate payroll documentation

• Strong communication and customer service skills

Pay Details: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
