United Community Pharmacy is hiring an experienced, dependable Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our closed-door, long-term care pharmacy team in Saint Anthony, Minnesota.

Rather than focusing on traditional retail transactions, you'll specialize in prescription processing, medication order management, and the important details that keep long-term care pharmacy operations running smoothly.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Own the Details: Enter and process prescriptions, medication changes, refills, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
  

• Keep Orders Moving: Manage prescription queues and help maintain timely medication processing.
  

• Solve Problems: Identify missing information, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate clarifications.
  

• Maintain Patient Records: Update medication profiles and ensure documentation is accurate.
  

• Work with Healthcare Professionals: Communicate with pharmacists, nurses, providers, and care facilities.
  

• Support the Team: Assist with long-term care medication fulfillment and pharmacy workflows as needed.
  

The Experience We're Looking For

Required:

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  

• Active Minnesota Board of Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing.
  

• Previous professional pharmacy technician experience, including prescription data entry.
  

• Strong understanding of pharmacy terminology, medication orders, and prescription processing.
  

• Excellent computer skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  

• A consistent employment history demonstrating dependability, commitment, and reliability.
  

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in long-term care, closed-door, institutional, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy.
  

• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic prescriptions.
  

• Experience processing high volumes of medication orders.
  

• Previous experience communicating with healthcare facilities and clinical staff.
