Position Overview
This entry-level CPA role is ideal for a newly licensed professional ready to apply their knowledge in a real-world environment. You’ll support financial operations across all three companies, gaining hands-on, real-world experience. This is a unique opportunity to grow with a supportive team while contributing to the financial health of multiple successful businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting functions for all business entities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial data
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and review basic tax filings under supervision
- Analyze financial information to identify trends or discrepancies
- Collaborate with management to support financial decision-making
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation across all companies
- Participate in process improvements and internal control enhancements
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required (no exceptions)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different business types
- Positive attitude and interest in working within a family-oriented environment
