Certified School Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Lancaster, PA
The Certified School Nurse (CSN) promotes student health,
safety, and academic success by providing nursing services, health assessment,
care coordination, health education, and disease prevention within the school
setting. The CSN collaborates with students, families, school personnel,
healthcare providers, and community partners to address health needs that may
impact learning and access to education. The
CSN supports student well-being and a safe learning environment by
facilitating access to appropriate health services and support.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which
the nurse practices
- Certification or Credential in school nursing, required
- One year prior school nursing experience required
- Pediatric experience, preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of
practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state
regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
