Job Summary:
- Department: Surgery
- Shift Timings: 06:30-15:00 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours)
- Per Week: 40 Hours
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.
- Helping provide great patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certified ST AND BLS, Flexible start and end times.
- Call: based on department needs: usually 1 shift during the week day and 1 weekend a month, Holidays are covered by call.
- 2 years OR experience, strong ortho, robotics and trauma preferred.
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
