Work Schedule: Evening Shift, 5 days per week, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay rate: $50- $57hr ($2,000 - $2,280/wk

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

We are seeking a qualified Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a travel contract assignment in Rochester, New York. The selected candidate will assist surgical teams during operative procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure surgical instruments and supplies are prepared according to established clinical and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.
Assist surgeons and other members of the surgical team during operative procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and follow infection prevention protocols.
Handle surgical instruments and supplies safely and efficiently.
Monitor and maintain the sterile field throughout procedures.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation according to clinical protocols.
Support surgical counts and complete required documentation.
Follow facility policies and applicable patient safety standards.

Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent qualifying education.
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, as required.
Knowledge of surgical instruments, aseptic technique, and operating room procedures.
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Additional Information
Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Five 8-hour shifts per week.
Travel/contract opportunity.
