Change Management Internship

Performs administrative staff work in support of research and review projects focusing on Hospital policies and procedures and department operations. Change management sits within the Marketing & Comms function and focuses on driving adoption of many of Northwells largest transformations. This ranges from large-scale tech projects, like Epic, to hospital integrations. We also focus on building the capabilities of others in change management.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the collection and preparation of data relative to the work of the department.
• Assists in studies to objectivity ascertain the efficiency, economy and effectiveness of department or Hospital operations, policies and procedures.
• Assists management in facilitating new programs and/or procedures.
• Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Currently enrolled as an undergrad junior, senior or as a graduate level student majoring in I/O Psychology or Business.
• Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting, preferred.
• Previous work or internships experience in change management, I/O Psychology, HR or communication, highly preferred.

Schedule and Location:

Hybrid role, 1 day in person; full-time hours

Duration: June 2027 through August 2027
