Cheese Clerk (PT)

In this role, you’ll get to work hands-on with a wide selection of artisan and specialty cheeses—slicing, serving, and sharing your knowledge with customers who appreciate great food. You’ll help create an inviting, well-stocked cheese display while keeping everything fresh, clean, and up to our high safety standards. Responsibilities

1. Individual supports a positive customer experience, providing guests with a unique, enthusiastic and informational experience.
2. Observes and supports all store rules and company policies.
3. A Cheese Clerk packs, labels and merchandises cheese and related items according to Uncle Giuseppe’s policies.
4. Maintains the entire work area in a clean and sanitary condition and follows all safety procedures.
5. Performs all other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

1. HS Diploma or equivalent
2. A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a retail food environment
3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for cheese
4. Highly organized and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
5. Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
6. An interest in cheese to help facilitate learning and growing within the department
