nhow Amsterdam RAI is a new social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a hotel with 650 rooms, with a very dynamic kitchen operation ranging from a busy breakfast buffet, serving up to 700 covers, the banqueting operation with 10 meeting rooms, the Moana bar, and the room service. Your workplace will be the main kitchen of the hotel that is located on the 17th floor and that makes it one of the highest located professional kitchens in Amsterdam.

What part will you play in creating the unforgettable?

• Preparing and presenting dishes according to nhow standards;
• Supporting other departments and kitchen leadership team;
• Managing your section during busy breakfast, lunch, or dinner service;
• Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation of dishes;
• Following HACCP procedures carefully;
• Assisting with mise en place and kitchen preparation;
• Contributing ideas, creativity and teamwork within the kitchen.

What makes you the perfect fit for this bold journey?

• You have been working as an independent chef or commis chef and you want to make a step and cook in a large hotel;
• You have a passion for food, and for creating unique experiences for our guests;
• You enjoy working in an international team (English is the main language);
• You are able to work with flexible schedule (AM or PM);
• You are able to work independently and without supervision at times but you do not mind helping other departments;
• You are a hard worker with an eye for detail and see a challenge in every situation.
