Chef De Partie

We\'re seeking a talented Chef de Partie to create amazing experiences for our guests. Join our culinary team on the West Coast.

13th October, 2026

Location: Fox Glacier, West Coast

Employment Type: Full-Time, Waged

Hours of work: Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Rotating roster that will include weekends.

Rate: $29.00-$31.00per hour

Hotel: Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier

What You\'ll Do and Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation, cooking and serving of food for service.
• Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.
• Ensure all food is served and stored at the correct temperatures and meets Hotel standards, menu specifications and Kitchen guidelines.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.
• Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.
• Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
• Assisting with any other kitchen duties as required by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred.
• A certificate at NZQF Level 4, or higher qualification, in Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing)
