Located on lush, manicured lawns and gardens in Framingham, MA, we are just minutes from Route 9 for easy access to the Mass Pike.

We're looking for a Head Chef who takes pride in scratch cooking and wants a role that respects their time outside the kitchen. This is a stable, well-structured position with predictable hours, consistent volume, and real room for culinary creativity — not the chaos of a typical restaurant grind.

•  $27 per hour based on skills and experience.
• Shifts vary from 6am to 2pm and 10am and 6pm.  Every Other Weekend required.
• Dependable, consistent hours — no unpredictable late nights or last-minute schedule changes.
  Steady, predictable customer volume — plan and execute without the feast-or-famine swings of typical restaurant service.

Chef Qualifications:   

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Institutional chef experience required.
• Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Servesafe Certification required.
• Strong scratch cooking and menu development skills.
• Solid understanding of food cost, ordering, and kitchen management.
• A collaborative leadership style and genuine passion for great food.
  

Chef Job Summary:

• In cooperation with Dietary Director, lead all kitchen operations, from menu development to daily execution.
  Design and rotate scratch-made menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative technique.
  Manage food cost, ordering, and inventory.
  Train, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff.
  Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  Collaborate with leadership on menu planning and special events.
