Chemical Handler

The Chemical Handler will support wafer manufacturing operations by safely managing, delivering, and monitoring chemicals used in production. The role involves operating chemical delivery systems, responding to alarms, troubleshooting minor issues, managing chemical waste, and maintaining compliance with EHS and safety requirements. The position also supports inventory control activities and requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform chemical changes on manufacturing tools according to established procedures.
• Set up and verify chemical delivery units to ensure proper chemical flow.
• Respond to tool alarms and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Operate and maintain chemical delivery systems and related equipment.
• Collect and manage chemical waste according to EHS guidelines.
• Handle hazardous materials safely using appropriate PPE.
• Escalate issues and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Work independently during assigned shifts.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Issue materials to production as required.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods.
• Support materials and spares crib operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Chemical handling or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely handle hazardous materials and use PPE.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift and move chemical containers safely.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Forklift certification/experience preferred.
• SAP or similar ERP experience preferred
