Title: Chemical Lab Technician II
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124
Duration: 12+ Months
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-4: 30pm
Pay: $23.00/HR on W2
Job Description
Responsibilities:
The lab technician will be supervised by engineers and lab manager and is expected to be able to independently function in the scope provided below.
•Perform lab experiments daily, document and communicate results to support customer-oriented R&D projects
•Adhere to all safety procedures in conducting daily work, handling chemical and operating lab equipment
•Support customer sample manufacturing in pilot scale
•Assist shipping and receiving of chemicals
•Responsible for lab maintenance and inventory
•Exhibit flexibility and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
•Contribute ideas that improve the safety, efficiency and/or the overall effectiveness of the laboratory and team
SKILLS:
•Wet chemistry skills (required)
•Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Experience with semiconductor processing is a plus
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of lab experience;preferably in an industrial or pilot plant environment
Qualifications:
100% onsite
No additional medical exams needed at this time other than drug screening.
30min Phone interview can possibly follow with an onsite interview later on.
