Position Overview
Colgate-Palmolive is a global consumer products company serving people in more than 200 countries and territories. We are currently accepting applications for a Temporary Part-Time Chemist to join our Research & Development team at our Global Technology Center in Piscataway, New Jersey.
In this role, the candidate will assist in developing a fundamental understanding of the structure and interactions of inorganic and organic compounds. The candidate will work alongside Colgate scientists, gaining valuable hands-on industrial laboratory experience in experimental design, sample preparation, and data analysis.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
This position is ideal for an individual who holds or is actively pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have a solid foundation in inorganic, organic, or analytical chemistry, enjoy hands-on bench work on a daily basis, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and precision when taking laboratory measurements.
