Sacred Heart University's Department of Chemistry & Physics in the College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for Adjunct Instructors committed to transforming complex chemical concepts into rigorous, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for advanced study and scientific careers.From foundational lectures and laboratories to graduate study in analytical chemistry, chromatography, and spectroscopy, adjunct instructors contribute expertise to a department spanning chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biochemistry, and chem-bioinformatics. A master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry is required for undergraduate teaching assignments.Prior teaching experience is required.Graduate-level teaching assignments require a Ph.D. in Chemistry and relevant practical experience.Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a collegial and supportive learning environment in which all members of the University community can thrive and succeed.
