Chicago - Carrier Sales

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified motor carriers to build and expand a reliable capacity network across key lanes.
• Negotiate carrier rates and secure competitive pricing on loads that satisfy client service requirements while protecting company margins.
• Source and match available carrier capacity to open loads, ensuring timely pickup and delivery across domestic and international shipments.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with carrier partners through consistent communication, prompt issue resolution, and reliable follow-through.
• Track shipments in real time, proactively communicating status updates and resolving service exceptions with carriers, dispatch, and operations teams.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date carrier records, including compliance documentation, insurance certificates, and performance history, within the company's operating system.
• Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution from load booking through final delivery.
