JOB SUMMARYWe are seeking a Full-Time (40 hours), proactive and detail-oriented Legal Office Admin to join our team in our Chicago, IL office. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office while fostering a positive company culture. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable and capable of managing multiple tasks with a high level of professionalism. KEY RESPONSIBILITESAdministrative SupportRun business-related errands as needed; driving will be needed from time to timeManage snack and lunch orders for the office; manage expense reports related to orderingAssist with travel arrangements and accommodations when requiredPrepare and organize documents for executionHeavy scanning, emailing, faxing and mailing office, with frequent runs to FedExOffice Management & InventoryOversee office supply inventory and place orders as neededMaintain a clean, organized and functional office spaceManage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveriesAnswer and direct phone callsCompany CultureSupport initiatives to promote a positive work environment and team engagement internally, and with the local communityAssist with staff and client event coordinationAccount Management SupportSupport account management functions, such as maintaining records and vendor relationshipsQualificationsPrevious experience in office coordination, administration or similar roleStrong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to pivot from task to task with changing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook emailProactive, adaptable, and capable with working independentlyMust have valid drivers license and reliable vehicleHigh school GED minimum requirement; Bachelor's degree preferredBenefits401(k) with employer contribution100% employer paid Health, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous Paid time off policyProfessional development assistanceFlexible work arrangements consistent with travel requirements and departmental needsCollaborative, mission-driven work environmentThe Foundation for Affordable Housing is an equal opportunity employer.
