We have been trusted to identify a Chief Clinical Officer for a very large and growing, multi-state hospice organization. This executive will shape clinical strategy as the organization grows, with responsibility for quality, regulatory compliance, patient and family experience, and the effective use of clinical resources.

The successful candidate will pair a strong commitment to hospice care with the ability to lead at scale. They will work closely with the CEO and executive team to expand access for eligible patients, strengthen clinical performance and partnership across markets, and build the leadership structure needed for continued growth.

The Impact -

• Develop and execute an enterprise clinical strategy that supports responsible growth and consistent care across states.
• Improve timely access to hospice through effective clinical review, admission processes, and partnerships with operations and growth leaders.
• Lead quality improvement, survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and clinical risk management.
• Guide appropriate utilization of visits, staffing, caseloads, and levels of care according to patient needs and hospice requirements.
• Strengthen eligibility, recertification, documentation, and interdisciplinary care planning practices.
• Use clinical outcomes, patient and family feedback, and operating data to identify opportunities and hold teams accountable for results.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor clinical leaders across the organization.
• Provide clinical leadership for new-market expansion, acquisitions, and integration.

Ideal -

• The ideal candidate is an accomplished hospice clinical executive who has led teams across multiple locations or states as a Chief or SVP.
• They bring deep knowledge of hospice regulations and care delivery, sound operational and financial judgment, and a demonstrated record of improving quality and patient experience during periods of growth.
• An active RN license is required
