EstimatorMy client is a full-service commercial contractor specializing in national retail and hospitality projects, as well as local commercial, multi-family, and healthcare work. Family-owned and operated since 1981, the company has grown to $390M in annual revenue while maintaining a strong, employee-first culture. They are actively looking to develop future leaders from within their Project Management team into leadership roles in the company.RoleThis is a 90% office-based role, with limited travel (no more than 3 days per month)Run 2-4 projects at a given time, dependent on size and clientProjectsNational retail (notably Walmart and Valvoline programs)Hospitality and Senior LivingLocal CommercialHealthcareJob DescriptionLead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for construction projects.Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates.Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for completeness and compliance with project requirements.Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and team members.Ensure all estimates are completed within deadlines and align with company objectives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
