About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a newly acquired partner firm within a rapidly scaling, national wealth management platform executing a buy-and-build strategy. The platform partners with high-quality advisory firms, providing leadership, infrastructure, and growth capital to accelerate expansion. The Kalamazoo partner firm represents a priority acquisition, and this CEO will play a critical role in leading the business through its next phase of growth. The platform currently operates multiple partner firms across several regions and is ahead of its growth plan, with a strong pipeline of additional acquisitions underway.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a CEO role with full P&L ownership while being supported by an institutional platform. The incoming leader will be responsible for driving organic growth, leading client engagement, and building a high-performing team, while also contributing to broader platform initiatives. This role is ideal for a high-trajectory leader who combines strong business-building instincts with the ability to engage directly with high-net-worth clients and represent the firm at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own full P&L responsibility and overall performance of the partner firm
  • Lead day-to-day operations, including client engagement, team leadership, and growth execution
  • Serve as the face of the firm, building trust with high-net-worth clients and representing the business in the local market
  • Drive organic growth through business development, referral channels, and client acquisition strategies
  • Build and manage a revenue pipeline, including personal involvement in key client relationships
  • Partner with platform leadership on strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and integration
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of advisors and support staff
  • Implement best practices, systems, and processes aligned with platform standards
  • Identify and execute opportunities to expand services, improve client experience, and increase wallet share
  • Collaborate with peer leaders across the platform to share best practices and drive performance

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated team leadership and accountability
  • Proven experience building or scaling a business, function, or revenue-generating initiative
  • At least 4+ years of experience in wealth management or private wealth advisory (e.g., major wirehouses or advisory firms)
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and build credibility with high-net-worth clients
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth, build pipelines, and close business
  • Combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution capability
  • Experience in leadership roles within fast-paced, high-performance environments (military, consulting, startups, or operating roles) is highly attractive
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High-potential operator with a mix of leadership experience and early-career exposure to wealth management
  • Has built or scaled something meaningful (e.g., business unit, startup, revenue channel, or team)
  • Comfortable both leading teams and personally engaging in client-facing activities
  • Brings strong “builder” mentality with ambition to grow into a top-tier executive within a scaling platform
  • MBA or top-tier academic background

Why Join:

This is a rare opportunity to step into a CEO role within a high-growth wealth management platform at an early stage of scale.

The incoming CEO will:

  • Lead a partner firm with full ownership and autonomy while supported by a broader platform
  • Play a central role in driving growth across both the local business and broader organization
  • Gain exposure to M&A, integration, and multi-site scaling strategies
  • Participate in a structured executive program, including equity, co-invest opportunities, and long-term wealth creation
  • Join a platform that is outperforming its growth plan and rapidly expanding its national footprint
