Chief Executive Officer
Provides executive leadership for day-to-day operations, regulatory performance, and overall strategic direction of the OPO.
Oversees operational, financial, quality, and strategic plans, with performance outcomes reported to the Board and system leadership.
Ensures full compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and governmental requirements related to organ donation and transplantation.
Serves as primary liaison to the Board of Directors, supporting effective governance, policy oversight, and transparent communication.
Represents the organization externally as a key spokesperson and partner to transplant centers, regulators, community stakeholders, and media.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of eight years progressive experience in healthcare management and executive leadership roles within an Organ Procurement, Hospital or health system environment required.
Demonstrated executive leadership ability to inspire, build consensus, manage conflict, drive change, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
Strategic thinking, business acumen sound judgment, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proven experience in performance excellence, quality improvement, regulatory environments, and enterprise-wide initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma a plus).
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influence skills, with a track record of driving innovation across cross-functional teams.
