Chief Financial OfficerPage Executive has been engaged on an exclusive basis to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a rapidly growing construction business based in Boston, MA. This search is for a high impact finance leader to join a $50m business that has experienced significant expansion and is entering its next phase of growth. One day per week remote.The CFO is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly into the CEO. The business has scaled quickly in recent years and is seeking a CFO who can bring structure, rigor and strategic financial oversight to support continued expansion. You will take full ownership of the finance function, providing both hands on leadership and strategic direction. This role requires an individual who is comfortable operating in a fast paced, evolving environment and who can bring clarity and control to complex and challenging business operations. Main duties and responsibilities include the following:Lead and develop a small finance function, implementing best practice processes and controlsOversee all accounting, reporting and financial planning activitiesDrive improvements in financial systems, data integrity and reporting accuracyPartner closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support commercial decision makingManage cash flow, forecasting and working capital effectivelySupport bonding requirements and relationships with external stakeholdersProvide leadership during continued growth, including potential system enhancements and operational scalingThis is an outstanding opportunity for a driven finance leader looking to step into a CFO position where they can make a tangible impact and help shape the future of a growing $50m construction business.In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:Bachelors degreeCPA - ideal but not essentialProven CFO or senior finance leadership experience within the construction or contracting sector is essentialStrong technical accounting expertise with the ability to operate both strategically and hands onExperience improving and stabilizing finance functions in high growth or evolving environmentsConfident, resilient and decisive, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholdersComfortable working in a dynamic setting that requires adaptability and ownershipStrong systems experience, with exposure to construction accounting platforms advantageousAbility to be in-office 4 days/ week.What's on offer:Base salary up to $240,000 to $250,000Performance related annual bonus scheme (+/- 10%)Opportunity to shape and lead the finance function in a growing businessCompetitive 401K company matchUnlimited PTOHigh visibility role with direct impact on company performance and direction"C-suite" role title.1 day/ week remote.
