Chief Financial Officer - Non-Profit


Salary: $130,000-160,000

Key Responsibilities for the Chief Financial Officer:



  • Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and treasury operations.

  • Oversee Human Resources, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

  • Manage grant reporting, restricted funds, endowments, and capital project accounting.

  • Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, audit activities, and IRS Form 990 preparation.

  • Serve as liaison to the Board Finance Committee and provide financial insights to leadership.

  • Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, risk management programs, and vendor relationships.


Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 6+ years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, and fiscal management.

  • Prior supervisory and team leadership experience.

  • MUST have experience with non-profit and grants

  • CPA preferred.

  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and internal controls.
