SUMMARY: The Chief Inspector performs inspection of aviation accessories in accordance with the current technical data provided in the Component Maintenance Manuals, Services Bulletins, Service Information Letters, Airworthiness Directives, Regulations and Quality procedures acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
5 years of quality and/or inspection work experience.
Extensive knowledge of customers' requirements to establish standards based on past customer corrective actions and requests.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and people skills.
Comprehensive understanding of components worked by VSE Aviation.
Experience with the standards and requirements of ISO 9001, AS91XX, or equivalent quality management systems.
Proficiency with maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and inspection tools.
Certified Repairman.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
