Chief of Staff role
We are seeking a high-performing individual to serve as Chief of Staff to our CEO, Reggie Aggarwal.  This individual will work closely with our CEO and executive team to help drive business priorities, improve cross-functional alignment, and shape Cvent’s strategic direction. This is a highly visible and impactful role requiring exceptional data and analytical acumen, strategic problem-solving capabilities, and interpersonal intelligence. You’ll operate as a trusted partner and force multiplier to the CEO —bringing clarity to complexity, coordinating high-stakes initiatives, and enabling efficient decision-making at the highest level.

This role is not just about supporting the CEO—it’s about accelerating the impact of Cvent’s leadership, driving clarity through complexity, and being a central architect of strategic execution. If you're energized by high-stakes decision-making, thrive on both data and relationships, have the ability to prioritize and follow through on requests, this is your opportunity to operate at the heart of a company that is shaping the future of meetings and events.

In This Role, You Will::

Strategic Execution & Decision Support

  • Serve as a high impact thought partner to the CEO, helping translate vision into operational plans and tangible outcomes.
  • Leverage data and market intelligence to drive executive insights and scenario analysis; prepare reports, dashboards, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Manage key strategic initiatives from ideation through execution—ensuring alignment, momentum, and accountability.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Optimize internal operating rhythms: manage the corporate calendar of strategic planning cycles, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and executive offsite meetings.
  • Improve interdepartmental communication and eliminate organizational silos by acting as a conduit between senior leadership and broader teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in internal processes that enable speed, clarity, and collaboration across the enterprise
  • Drive cross-functional alignment of key strategic initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and G&A functions.
  • Own delivery of special projects and strategic initiatives (e.g., M&A integration, organizational redesign, GTM transformation).
  • Serve as a liaison with Blackstone and manage requests and inquiries while working with the Senior Management team where appropriate.
  • Enhance operational efficiency through integration of people, process, technology and AI-driven strategies promoting efficiency, improve decision-making speed, and empower teams to focus on higher-value work while maintaining engagement and motivation.

Leadership Enablement

  • Anticipate the CEO’s needs and proactively provide information, perspective, and structure that enhances leadership effectiveness.
  • Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings as needed; synthesize key takeaways and ensure follow-through on action items.
  • Maintain oversight of key programs, special projects, and strategic partnerships on behalf of the CEO.

People, Culture & Influence

  • Monitor organizational health and team morale; be a trusted confidant on culture, employee experience, and team dynamics.
  • Develop deep working relationships across all levels and functions to gather insights and build consensus on complex issues.
  • Lead initiatives that foster executive team alignment, leadership development, and culture-building.
Here's What You Need::
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive external experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, or high-growth environments; direct experience supporting a founder or CEO is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated fluency with data analytics, KPI development, business acumen, and financial modeling to support executive decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, adapt quickly, and lead cross-functional projects with minimal oversight.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills; able to command executive presence and manage sensitive topics with discretion.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills—exceptional attention to detail without losing the big picture.
