Overview:

Sentara Heart Hospital located in Norfolk, Virginia is looking for a Chief Cardiac Perfusionist to join the team.
 

The Sentara Heart Hospital, a 112-bed care facility, is #2 for Cardiology services and Heart Surgery in the State of Virginia and ranks #24 in the nation for best heart programs. 

The Chief Perfusionist is responsible for directing and coordinating the perfusion service. In addition to the clinical duties of performing perfusion services in the operating room, the role has administrative and leadership duties such as supervising perfusion services staff, coordinating quality and customer service activities, assisting in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget, serving as a technical/clinical resource to team members, performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree

Certification/Licensure:

• Certification in Cardiovascular Perfusion (CCP) - Certification-American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)

Experience:

• 1 year of administrative experience.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $221,228.80 - $317,803.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
