Chief Tax Officer Opportunity
A company operating in the technology and telecoms industry, located in Chicago, is seeking a Chief Tax Officer to manage the company's accounting and tax operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the company's accounting and tax operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Reviewing high-networth individual tax returns.
- Overseeing financial reporting and ensuring accuracy in all financial statements.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Leading audits and collaborating with external auditors as needed.
- Providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.
- Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and related documentation.
- Monitoring and managing financial risks, identifying areas for improvement.
- Staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards relevant to the technology and telecoms industry.

The successful Chief Tax Officer should have:
- 6+ years of strong experience in high-networth tax.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
