Job Summary

The Moorpark Unified School District will accept applications for the following classified position until all positions are filled. The person in this position works under general supervision to assist in the preparation of food; cleaning of kitchens; serving and selling of food to students and faculty; and to perform other related work as required. Primary responsibilities of the position are to: • Assist in preparing a variety of foods for breakfast and lunch. • Pan foods for cooking, baking and transport. • Perform routine cashiering duties. • Take inventory and prepare simple reports. • Wash pans, trays, plates, silverware and serving equipment. • Insure that sanitation and safety are preserved.

The written test will be given on an AS NEEDED basis (picture ID required). Late arrivals will not be admitted for testing. No cell phones, no calculator.
