The Child Nutrition Department of MSD of Decatur Township is looking to hire passionate individuals to help us serve the students of Decatur Township! Your role would include assisting the team in the preparation and service of quality food to students in a quick and friendly manner. Benefits and Pay Range:

• $13.50 per hour - Work when youre available and as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Foodservice experience preferred but is not required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Approved background check
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with students, parents, school administrators, staff, and public/private agencies
• Access to reliable transportation during working hours
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to take direction from Leadership and works well in a team environment
• Ability to work independently

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Seldom = Less than 25 %

2. Occasional = 26 to 50 %

3. Often = 51 to 75 %

4. Very Frequent = 76 % & above

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. (4)
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. (3)
• Ability to carry 25 lbs. (3)
• Ability to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations. (1)
• Ability to see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies, and other printed matters. (4)
• Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels. (4)
• Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation. (4)
• Ability to reach in all directions. (4)
