CHMC- Emergency Room RN- Per Diem- Day Shift; various shifts as needed- 12 Hour Shifts-Requisition 9717 Pay Range: $57.08-$63.81 Provides comprehensive critical care nursing services for unstable patients of all ages who require continuous surveillance. This nurse uses critical thinking, technical skills and a holistic approach to implement purposeful and effective action in the face of life-threatening events, and has the interpersonal skills to manage crisis. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Current NYS RN license. Successful completion of CHMC Chemotherapy course within 1 year of hire. Successful completion of PMCS within 6 months of position start date. Successful completion of an approved critical care course, and ACLS is required within one year of position start date. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care. One and a half years of medical-surgical nursing experience or similar acute care background. Prior nursing experience in an intensive care setting is preferred. The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
