CHMC - RN Tele / MS Float - Per Diem - Nights

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for MedSurg/Telemetry overflow coverage in a high-volume acute care setting. Candidates must be comfortable caring for both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients and be flexible with scheduling needs, including weekends.Minimum QualificationsActive RN license in good standing.Recent experience in MedSurg and Telemetry required.Ability to work weekend shifts.Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills in an acute care environment.Scheduling RequirementsMust be available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.For Masterbook participation, clinicians must commit to at least 1 shift per month.Weekend availability required.EMR RequirementsMeditech experience is highly preferred.Candidates without Meditech experience may attend a facility-sponsored Meditech orientation/training class however these are LIMITED and may not be compensated.Submission InformationFor candidate inquiries, scheduling, or orientation coordination, agencies should contact Luz. 4.Min. 1 year previous Acute Care hospital experience
5.Meditech EMR experience preferred
6.Must be able to float to medsurg/tele

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
