For two decades, federal agencies have relied on Tria companies to advance their critical missions and modernize their systems, so that they can uphold their commitment to the American people. Today, we are pushing the boundaries of possibility through partnerships and investments in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, developing solutions for the biggest challenges that government will face tomorrow.

We are proud to employ and support military veterans who bring mission-first mindset, technical expertise, and leadership qualities that strengthen our work. Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply.

Perform as a CI Operations IT Manager supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Directorate for Operations (DO), Enterprise and Training Office (ETO), in Reston, VA.

This is a mission-focused IT role supporting the development, modernization, and sustainment of enterprise capabilities across the Defense Counterintelligence and Human Intelligence Enterprise. The ideal candidate is a versatile IT professional who can work across applications, data, analytics, automation, and technical operations; quickly learn new technologies and mission processes; and translate Government needs into practical technical solutions.

DIA, IC, or DoD intelligence experience is strongly preferred. Direct Counterintelligence or HUMINT experience is desired but is not the primary focus of the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant IT experience supporting software development, systems integration, application modernization, data/analytics, technical operations, or similar efforts, preferably within DIA, the IC, DoD, or another Federal environment.
  • Programming/scripting and data visualization experience, preferably using Python and/or JavaScript and tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar enterprise collaboration and knowledge-management platforms.
  • Working knowledge of modern software development and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, automation, configuration management, and containerization. Experience with tools such as Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Ability to work directly with mission users and technical teams to understand operational needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of DoD/IC cybersecurity requirements and experience supporting secure, mission-critical IT environments.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability and willingness to learn new technologies and apply them to emerging requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with completed CI Polygraph required prior to performance.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Reston, VA

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous DIA, IC, or DoD intelligence mission experience.
  • Counterintelligence or HUMINT experience, including functional management, mission support, operations, collection, analysis, or related activities.
  • Credentialed CI Special Agent, graduate of a CI Special Agent training program, or CI/HUMINT-certified course.
  • Experience with requirements management, FRDs, Agile development, dashboards, workflow automation, proofs of concept, or rapid prototyping.
  • Familiarity with DISA STIGs, ICD 503, RMF, cloud environments, and other DoD/IC cybersecurity and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Government stakeholders and mission users to understand operational needs, technical gaps, existing capabilities, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate mission needs into functional and technical requirements and develop supporting FRDs, capability requirements, product backlogs, technical documentation, and related products.
  • Support development, modernization, and sustainment of IT capabilities used for CI/HUMINT functional management, enterprise coordination, requirements management, performance assessment, and decision support.
  • Develop or support technical solutions using scripting, automation, data visualization, SharePoint, and other available technologies, including Python/JavaScript, Tableau/Power BI, and related tools where appropriate.
  • Assess existing technologies, support proofs of concept and rapid prototyping, and help identify practical solutions to mission and business-process challenges.
  • Work across developers, data engineers, UI/UX, cybersecurity, system administrators, and Government technical personnel to support requirements, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Support CI/CD, configuration management, version control, system monitoring, performance, backup/recovery, and other technical operations as required.
  • Provide operational metrics, status reporting, dashboards, and post-implementation analysis while ensuring solutions account for applicable security and Government IT requirements
