Job Title: Civil CAD Technician

We are looking for a qualified construction site Grade Checker to be responsible for preparing sites for construction and providing measurement data to establish cuts, fills, and pipe inverts. Grade Checkers research measurements of land and perform mathematical calculations.
Responsibilities
- Work site: 1/2 office and 1/2 Field
- Perform GPS topographic and as-built surfaces
- Assist with construction staking or site layout staking
- Coordinate with field survey crews
- Provide technical expertise to other individuals in the company
- Verifying data and calculations
- Recording results of surveys
- Calculating the measurements of sites
Requirements
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and GPS Machine Control Setup
- AGTEK
- Drone operator
- Drone fight take-off experience is a plus
- Valid Driver’s license
- Good numeracy & cartography skills, and the ability to make mathematical calculations
- Logical thinking skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Organizational skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- A good memory
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to kneel, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
